A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME.
My name is Kentee-Rose.
I have had a passion for animals since I was a child and have always known I wanted to include animals in my line of work. This is why I chose to become a pet sitter.
I have a lot of experience working with and studying animals. I completed a year at Otley college developing animal studies and animal care. I then moved on to a year of volunteering at Baylham Rare Breeds Farm. After, a year volunteering at Newton Hall Equitation Centre (a livery yard and riding school) where I learnt a lot of new skills and improved my riding and handling methods.
As well as studying and volunteering, I have a lot of experience with dog walking, horse riding and pet sitting which I have accumulated working for clients over the years.
I started Pawsome Tails in 2017 Having my own dog I understood how worrying it was to Leave your pets in kennels etc. I originally stared by just caring for friends pets while they were away or at work. I realised how many people needed a pet sitter or dog walker they can truly trust. So I set out on a mission to create Pawsome Tails and help give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in safe hands.
Recently the business has grown, in order to insure I am able to continue give each client the best level of personal centred care I have brought on some staff to help.
Pet sitting.
We pet sit for animals such as dogs, cats, horses, small animals, farm animals, reptiles and more. In order to make your animals as comfortable as possible when you are away, We prefer to look after them in their own home.
When looking after your animals, we strive to meet the needs of each individual pet. I like to meet you and your pets before we come to an agreement, to make sure we are both happy that our team can accomplish this to the best of our ability.
Dog care.
Me and the rest of my staff have a vide variety of experience with different breeds, ages and sizes of dogs.
I understand that your pet will be used to having companionship on a daily basis which is why I offer to stay in your home. This enables us to provide the loving care that your dog requires.
Horse care.
I am currently the only team member that works with our Horse clients, so if you need horse sitting or excising this will all be handled by myself personally.
Working with horses has given me good experience. I can ride in different styles and tailor each ride to the needs of the horse. I have experience working on a yard and I can preform day to day yard tasks. This includes cleaning out, grooming, feeding, tacking up, riding, bringing in and turning out etc.
I previously worked on a busy yard so have dealt with a lot of different horses and different levels of riding. This has also opened me to dealing with horses at different ages including green horses.
Farm animal care.
Due to having worked on a farm I am capable of caring for farm animals. I have worked with farm animals such as: pigs, cows, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, llamas and more.
I am confident in preforming day to day yard tasks such as: mucking out, feeding, watering, washing, egg collecting etc.
While working on the farm I had a lot of hands on experience with the births of animals, and after care of young. Therefore I am happy and confident in making up formula and bottle feeding young animals.
Paperwork and consultations.
I hold all consolations with new clients personally, I have a number of questions and paper work to fill out before we can agree to care for your pet(s). You are also given the opportunity to ask any questions you may have at the consolation also.
All our staff and myself have insurance etc.
I look forward to hearing from you and your pets!
